# Framer

> Add the chat to a Framer site, with the Luxivo plugin or by pasting the snippet into custom code.

## With the plugin

1. In your Framer project, open **Plugins** and search for **Luxivo Live Chat**.
2. Click **Connect with Luxivo**. A Luxivo tab opens: sign in (or start a free trial), enter your
   site's address and pick the chat for it.
3. Go back to Framer: the plugin connects by itself within a few seconds.
4. **Publish** your site. The chat is on every page.

The address you enter is added to the widget's allowed websites. If the site has both a
`*.framer.website` address and your own domain, add the other one under
**Brands → your brand → Name and look → Websites**, or leave the list empty.

To switch to another widget or remove the chat, open the plugin again. If you turn the Luxivo
code off in **Site Settings → General → Custom Code**, the plugin can't turn it back on. Switch
it on there.

## By hand

1. In Luxivo, open **Chat → your brand → Install** and copy the snippet.
2. In Framer, open **Site Settings → General → Custom Code** and paste it into
   **End of `<body>` tag**.
3. Add your site's addresses (for example `yoursite.framer.website` and `yoursite.com`) under
   **Brands → your brand → Name and look → Websites**, or leave the list empty.
4. Publish.
