Webflow

Add the chat to a Webflow site from Luxivo, or by pasting the snippet into custom code.

With the Webflow app

  1. In Luxivo, open Settings → Integrations and click Connect Webflow.
  2. Allow Luxivo to access your Webflow workspace and choose the sites it can use.
  3. Back in Luxivo, every site of the workspace is listed. Pick a widget next to a site and click Add chat.

Luxivo adds its chat script to the site’s custom code (before </body>) and publishes the site, so the chat is live right away. The site’s addresses (yoursite.webflow.io and your own domains) are added to the widget’s allowed websites.

Publishing from Luxivo also puts any other unpublished changes of the site live. If you’d rather publish yourself, turn off Publish the site right away before adding the chat, then publish in Webflow when you’re ready.

Several Webflow workspaces

Agencies and teams with more than one Webflow workspace can connect each of them: click Connect another Webflow workspace and choose the next workspace on Webflow’s screen. Every connection is listed with its sites, and each site can get its own widget. Connecting a workspace that’s already listed just renews its access.

To take the chat off a site, click Remove next to it. Disconnect next to a workspace takes the chat off that workspace’s sites and removes Luxivo’s access to it; other workspaces stay connected.

By hand

  2. In Webflow, open Site settings → Custom code and paste it into Footer code.
  3. Add your site’s addresses (for example yoursite.webflow.io and yoursite.com) under Widgets → Edit → General → Allowed websites, or leave the list empty.
  4. Publish the site.
